Saab Aeronautics is growing and playing an increasingly significant role in Europe. Therefore, a new organization has been created with a focus on EU-funded research and development projects. The goal is to strengthen Saab as a reliable and collaborative partner in international initiatives.

We are now looking for a new Project Manager who wants to drive exciting projects forward. This role is ideal for you if you want to work in an international environment on collaborative projects with major industrial companies in Europe.

Your Role

As a Project Manager, you are responsible for Saab's commitments in the projects, but you also collaborate closely with the project coordinator and other partners. An example of a project could be the development of the next generation fighter jet cockpit – working on new technical solutions for future air combat and cooperation between different systems.

You will have a leading role where you steer and guide projects – from idea and design all the way to start-ups. You are responsible for approving various parts of the projects, planning the work, and ensuring that the right resources are in place.

The job also includes:

• Planning staffing and tasks
• Monitoring performance and supporting colleagues in their development
• Managing project budgets
• Ensuring that the organization's guidelines are followed

You will often act as a support in more complex matters and contribute your experience in project management.

It is an extra advantage if you have experience with:

• Complex projects with many stakeholders
• EU-funded projects (or similar, e.g., Vinnova)
• International collaborations
• Creating engagement and drive in organizations

You must be able to communicate fluently in both Swedish and English.

The position requires you to undergo and be approved according to current security clearance regulations. For positions where Saab requires security classification, this may, in some cases, entail citizenship requirements.
